Family designer bag betrayal: Woman accused of pawning $7K in Louis Vuitton, Gucci

LAKE WORTH BEACH, Fla. (CBS12) — A woman is facing multiple felony charges after investigators say she stole designer handbags from a family member and later pawned them at a local shop, according to arrest records.

The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office said that Noreanna Katrise Louis, 23, was arrested May 12 in West Palm Beach. She is charged with grand theft involving property valued between $5,000 and $10,000, dealing in stolen property, and providing false verification of ownership to a secondhand dealer.

According to a probable cause affidavit, the investigation began when a Lake Worth Beach woman reported several high-end purses missing from her home. The victim told deputies that she kept luxury Louis Vuitton and Gucci handbags in their original packaging for special occasions, but discovered three missing in late 2025.

The victim said she later confronted Louis, who admitted to taking the items and selling them. According to the arrest affidavit, Louis initially told the victim she had sold the handbags online, but investigators later determined the items were pawned at a Value Pawn and Jewelry location on Lantana Road…
