AMARILLO, Texas (KVII) — The number of people in Amarillo experiencing homelessness for first time is up. There are also more homeless people overall. But more of them are staying in a shelter than on the streets.
The Amarillo Continuum of Care, and the City of Amarillo, released results from the 2026 Point-in-Time (PIT) Count.
