KCK police close criminal investigation into Bishop Ward High School vandalism case

KANSAS CITY, Kan. (KCTV) – The criminal investigation into vandalism at Bishop Ward High School is over, according to the Kansas City Kansas Police Department.

A spokesperson for the department said the private high school informed investigators that it planned to handle the incident internally and did not wish to proceed with a criminal investigation.

A parent of a student who attends Bishop Ward said the damage happened during a senior prank. She also said the people involved “destroyed” several classrooms, overturned tables, threw eggs, and ripped up textbooks…
