Rock Country Restorations is hosting its third annual bowling fundraiser to support the programming at its sober living facility

JANESVILLE — What started as a grassroots effort to help women in recovery find stable housing has grown into a sober living program that Rock County Restorations Director Rita Key says is built on community, accountability and hope.

Now entering its third year, the “Strike out Addiction” bowling fundraiser helps support the work of the transitional sober living program serving women recovering from addiction, homelessness and incarceration. The event runs at noon on Saturday at RiversEdge Bowl (215 S. River St.).

The fundraiser was originally created to help cover expenses that grants often do not fund. It aims to raise money to expand programming and services at the sober living home at 1404 Center Ave. on Janesville’s south side…
