Woman riding electric scooter dies in northeast Albuquerque crash

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – The Albuquerque Police Department is investigating a deadly crash involving a vehicle and an electric scooter that took place Tuesday night in northeast Albuquerque.

At 9:50 p.m., officers responded to the crash, which took place in a parking lot at 4321 Montgomery Blvd. NE.

APD said the preliminary investigation found that a purple Chevrolet Malibu was driving southbound in the parking lot, and a woman on a black e-scooter with an attached seat was headed northbound in the parking lot.
