York County has two of the fastest growing cities and towns in the country, leading a population surge spread throughout the Charlotte area.
Fort Mill and York have growth rates unmatched in the region, according to U.S. Census Bureau population estimates released Thursday. That’s true even as Charlotte added the most new residents in the past year of any city in the nation.
