ANDERSON TOWNSHIP, Ohio (WKRC) – A stretch of floodplain land along the Little Miami River in Anderson Township that was once inundated could soon be transformed into a new recreational space.
The area, known as the Old Fort area, has been the focus of land acquisition efforts for decades. Over the last 30 years, Anderson Township and FEMA acquired much of the floodplain property following the 1997 flood.
