Exterior lockdown lifted at Ralph Bunche Middle School after APS says no credible threat found

ATLANTA — A lockdown has been lifted at an Atlanta middle school after school district officials said they didn’t find a credible threat.

A spokesperson for Atlanta Public Schools said a threat was made against Ralph Bunche Middle School on Wednesday. As a precautionary measure, the school was placed on an exterior lockdown while police investigated.

Authorities determined the threat, however, was not credible. The school day then progressed as normal…
