Clearing, grading begins on potential warehouse near industrial park

Clearing and grading is underway for a 788,550-square foot warehouse on 68.8 acres between Kimrey Road and N.C. Highway 119, just inside Graham’s city limits.

The forthcoming industrial/distribution building is being marketed as a “build-to-suit” (i.e. spec) industrial/distribution warehouse project through the state Department of Commerce.

The overall site plan will include space for parking up to 427 automobiles; space on two sides of the building where up to 100 semi-truck trailers can be dropped for loading and unloading; and up to 171 dock doors, according to a brochure from a commercial real estate firm that is marketing the property through the commerce department…
