The Wren Hurricanes took Game 1 of the AAAA Upper State semifinals with a 10-8 win over Fountain Inn on Wednesday night at Fountain Inn High School.
Wren jumped out to 5-1 lead in the first inning despite a solo shot from Carter Kelly to give the Fury their lone run in the opening frame.
