Former Madison City Schools substitute teacher arrested after being accused of inappropriate contact with student

MADISON, Ala. (WHNT) — A former substitute teacher was arrested after being accused of having inappropriate contact with a student in Madison.

Madison Police told News 19 that a joint investigation with Madison City Schools led to the arrest of 36-year-old JB Burt, a former substitute teacher who recently worked at Heritage Elementary School.
