MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) – The Memphis in May World Championship Barbecue Cooking Contest is underway at Liberty Park, with judging set to begin Thursday.
One hundred seventy-eight teams from 27 states and seven countries are competing for the title of World Champion. Wednesday was dedicated to opening festivities before competition begins.
