DeWitt Town Board change zoning laws for possibility of a Costco

DEWITT, N.Y. — The Town of DeWitt went over the possibility of a wholesale retailer coming to the town. This was during a Town Board meeting on Monday. Zoning laws were amended by the board in preparation for this possibility.

According to the Town Supervisor, Max Ruckdeschel, a plan or proposal has not been given to the board. This zoning change was done to entice big warehouse brands, like a Costco, to come to the area.
