KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) – A video from the Liberty Police Department is drawing attention to the dangers first responders face on the road.
The video, shared on Facebook by the Liberty Police Department, show officers conducting a traffic stop with their emergency lights on when a passing car doesn’t move over. It comes dangerously close to hitting two police officers and a civilian who were standing outside their vehicles.
“Traffic stops and roadside incidents are some of the most dangerous situations first responders face,” the department wrote on Facebook. “A moment of distraction, impatience, or failure to pay attention can change lives forever.”…
