Charges: Duo stole $374K in silver from Eagan home

Two men are accused of breaking into an Eagan home and making off with hundreds of thousands of dollars in silver.

Braidy Glen Allen, 38, of Champlin, and Christopher Lee Brandt, 42, of Marshall, have been charged with felony burglary and theft following the incident, which allegedly took place in the early hours of April 17.

The homeowners reported the theft to police later that day, with a woman telling officers that she heard noises when she was sleeping and awoke to discover the back door of the home was wide open, a utility room had been ransacked, and two 1,000-ounce silver bars worth $80,000 were gone…
