CLEVELAND (WJW) — A man is in custody, charged with drug-related felonies, after police found a variety of illegal drugs and cash at locations on Cleveland’s west side last month.

As part of a drug trafficking investigation, the Cleveland Police First District VICE Unit executed a search warrant at a property, finding about 8 ounces of cocaine and about 60 grams of heroin. This initial search uncovered about $12,500 in cash, considered “suspected drug proceeds.”
The suspect, who police did not name, was not at the initial location, but after was a warrant was issued was later found and taken into custody, Cleveland police said.

Another search warrant initiated in connection with the case uncovered more than $100,000 in cash, tied to drug trafficking.
