Another top East Carolina tight end target has scheduled an official visit to Greenville. Phoenix Barnes, an in-state tight end from Jack Britt High School in Fayetteville, N.C., revealed earlier this week he will visit the Pirates’ campus on June 11-13.
In addition, Barnes is also set to visit Appalachian State on June 4. Barnes visited ECU spring practice on April 3, where he received an offer from the Pirates via head coach Blake Harrell and tight ends coach Hunter MacKay.
Barnes’ other offers currently include Army, Charlotte, Coastal Carolina, James Madison, Liberty, Navy, Old Dominion, UMass and Western Kentucky…
