Snow Camp woman charged after investigators say she helped buy guns for convicted felon

ALAMANCE COUNTY, N.C. — A Snow Camp woman has been charged with felony aid and abet after Alamance County investigators say she helped facilitate the purchase of firearms that ended up in the possession of a convicted felon, according to the Alamance County Sheriff’s Office.

Authorities said the case began Monday, Feb. 9, 2026, when deputies opened an investigation into possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. During that inquiry, investigators developed probable cause to charge Charles William Heavener II, of Snow Camp, with felony possession of a firearm by a felon.
