NC Folk Festival announces The Roots, Molly Tuttle as 2026 headliners

GREENSBORO — Following a set from Asheville bluegrass sensation Holler Choir, and with a crowd of eager locals gathered outside downtown staple Natty Greene’s on Friday afternoon, organizers rolled out two major headliners for one of the state’s most treasured music and arts festivals — in fitting fashion.

The North Carolina Folk Festival returns Sept. 18-20, with The Roots headlining Saturday night and Molly Tuttle closing out Sunday.
