MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) – The City of Memphis Code Enforcement Department said most residents don’t know they are violating a code until they receive a citation.
“80% of our work is educational. So, even when we’re giving you a notice to correct the violation, it’s education,” said Roderick Nelson, the operations manager for the City of Memphis Code Enforcement Department.
