Man terrorizes Santa Rosa hours after jail release: police

(KRON) — Two hours after being released from jail on Wednesday, a 28-year-old man allegedly went on a rampage near Santa Rosa Junior College and victimized multiple women.

Liam Isaac Kolling, a resident of Kenwood, was released from the Sonoma County Jail shortly after 4 p.m. on pre-trial supervision. From the jail, he began walking south on Mendocino Avenue toward downtown Santa Rosa, according to the Santa Rosa Police Department.

At a bus stop near Santa Rosa Junior College, Kolling allegedly held a broken glass bottle to a woman’s hip and threatened to kill her. The woman attempted to get away by boarding a Sonoma County Transit bus, but Kolling chased after her, according to authorities.
