Condo that once belonged to late Texans’ owner hits market at $11M

HOUSTON — A sprawling, nearly 9,000-square-foot Uptown penthouse that was once owned by the late former Houston Texans owner Bob McNair has undergone a complete transformation and is back on the market.

The two-story penthouse atop The Belfiore condominium tower at 1275 S. Post Oak Lane recently hit the market with an initial asking price of $11 million after previously being positioned as a duplex. However, renovations to the condo were so extensive that it is being marketed as essentially a ground-up build within an existing structure that was designed to make it a true single-family home.

The home was never fully completed or occupied prior to getting its most recent overhaul, Douglas Elliman noted. The real estate firm said the property’s previous owner was an entity affiliated with the McNair family…
