Douglas County deputy fired after internal investigation

OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) – The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office fired a deputy last week after an internal investigation uncovered policy violations.

The department said in December, they learned that an agency outside of Douglas County was investigating allegations against 23-year-old Deputy Nolan Dudik.

Sheriff Aaron Hanson immediately ordered an internal investigation and placed Dudik on leave.

The sheriff’s office has not disclosed what allegations Dudik is facing. However, the department said they determined that Dudik committed policy violations…
