KALIHI, Hawaii (Island News) – An illegal gambling operation was shut down by the Honolulu Police Department (HPD) on Wednesday night, resulting in one arrest.
Officers executed a search warrant on an illegal gambling-type game room located on North King St. in Kalihi at 8 p.m..
Police recovered 12 gaming machines and more than $4,000 in cash. During the course of the search, police also arrested a 26-year-old man, without incident, for Promoting Gambling in the Second Degree and Possession of a Gambling Device.
