Kentucky homeowners feel the pinch as insurance costs rise

HENDERSON, Ky. — A majority of U.S. homeowners are seeing higher home insurance bills, and Kentucky families are no exception, according to a new national survey.

Seventy-one percent of homeowners report that their home insurance costs have increased over the past few years, with 42% saying the rise has been substantial, the Pew Research Center found in a survey conducted in March.
