Syracuse man faces new charges after 6-hour standoff on North Side

Syracuse, N.Y. ― A man is facing new charges after he was accused of stabbing a woman and barricading himself in a home for around six hours on Syracuse’s North Side last month.

Franklin Hill, 42, is now charged with second-degree attempted murder for stabbing and seriously injuring a woman on April 2, according to an indictment filed last week.
