A man accused of fatally neglecting his girlfriend’s profoundly disabled son told a trial jury Thursday that the girlfriend generally kept him away from the boy and their relationship had been decaying for months before his death.
That did not stop Joshua Mulvey, however, from having sex with Samantha Hardiman.
Testifying in his own defense, Mr. Mulvey said the last time he saw Kristopher Snyder, 7, alert and upright was when he stepped out sopping wet from a shower he and Hardiman were taking together and peeked into an adjoining bedroom at Hardiman’s direction.
