WELLINGTON, Fla. (CBS12) — Selling a home and moving into a senior living facility is supposed to bring stability and care. But residents at Luxe Senior Living at Wellington are now facing a 45-day deadline to move out after being told the facility is ceasing operations.
Carl Larsen, 75, said he moved into Luxe Senior Living at Wellington in February after selling his home and recovering from surgery. “I just needed a roof over my head,” Larsen said.
Larsen said residents pay between $4,000 and $6,000 a month to live at the facility…
