WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) — Sedgwick County Emergency Services is requesting a $9 million enhancement to expand its emergency medical services to Derby, which currently has only one unit.
When the Derby unit is unavailable, Sedgwick County crews must respond from other areas, often resulting in longer wait times for those in urgent need of assistance.
