HENDERSON COUNTY, N.C. (FOX Carolina) – The Henderson County Sheriff’s Office arrested two people from East Flat Rock in connection with a toddler in critical condition.
Deputies said that they were made aware of serious injuries sustained by a 22-month-old child on Thursday.
Officials arrested 35-year-old Lorena Magdaly Rodriguez Granados has been charged with felony accessory after the fact and felony obstruction of justice. She is being held in the Henderson County Detention Center.
With the assistance of the North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation (SBI), detectives located and arrested the child’s father, 30-year-old Hector Armando Romero Castillo, in Louisiana. He is awaiting extradition to North Carolina and has been charged with felony child abuse, inflicting serious injury…
