ASHEVILLE, N.C. (WLOS) — After some cool days lately, temperatures in western North Carolina are going to rocket upward this weekend.
Asheville has already had several 80-degree days this spring, with the highest temperature reaching 86 degrees on April 15 and again on April 18.
The forecast will push many into the mid to upper 80s this weekend, making it the warmest days of the year so far for many.
Record highs will be in jeopardy as well, with the best chance of reaching a record happening on Sunday. May 17…
