FRESNO, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – A woman who police say was following her own car that was stolen Friday morning was able to lead officers to the alleged thief, according to the Fresno Police Department.
The car was reported stolen at around 11:30 a.m. when officers received a call from a woman telling them that she was following her own stolen vehicle at Jensen and Elm in south Fresno.

According to police, the owner tried to confront the suspect as they were attempting to take the vehicle. The suspect tried driving away and dragged the victim along, also hitting her with the vehicle as they got away.
The CHP’s air unit continued to follow the stolen vehicle and officers on the ground managed to stop the car by spiking the tires. The suspect was aprehended…
