MILLBROOK, Ala. (WSFA) – They’re mixing up something special at Comfort Cooki in Millbrook.
“This is all my son’s idea,” said Michael Mears with Comfort Cooki. “I just brought it to life.”
Michael Mears moved to Alabama nine years ago. He’s retired from the military and wanted to be close to his grandkids. He’s staying pretty busy in retirement.
“It’s a place where everyone can come, feel comfortable, eat some really good food and some good snacks, and just have the sweet treat of their life.”
Michael’s son will take over in about a year. He’s the genius behind all the original cookie recipes, made from scratch…
