KANSAS CITY, Mo. (WDAF) — A 50-year-old Kansas City woman who was listed on the FBI’s Top 10 Most Wanted list is now in the Jackson County jail after being arrested in Florida last month.
KaShawn Nicola Roper is accused of shooting and killing 23-year-old Jazmyn Henrion.
Henrion was shot and killed on Aug. 23, 2020, while inside a car in the area of East 68th Street and Cleveland Avenue, leaving behind three young children ranging from a few months to six years old. A second victim in the car survived the shooting.
The High Springs Police Department announced on April 15 that it arrested Roper during a traffic stop in north Florida.

Roper is now in the Jackson County jail and is charged with second-degree murder, unlawful use of a weapon and two counts of armed criminal action.
