OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) – A former Nebraska regent and attorney with Douglas County has pleaded guilty to driving under the influence while inflicting serious bodily injury.
Elizabeth O’Connor, 34, was charged last summer with DUI after prosecutors said she crashed into another person while her blood-alcohol content was .321% – more than four times the legal limit.
She subsequently resigned from her role as a University of Nebraska Regent in January.
She was previously employed by the Douglas County Attorney’s Office but has since resigned from there, as well…
