Why the proposed city of Charlotte budget defunds Safe Alliance

City Manager Marcus Jones’ proposed FY27 budget does not provide any funding for Safe Alliance, the area’s leading nonprofit dedicated to sexual assault, domestic violence, and human trafficking survivors.
