HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) — First responders from Indiana and Kentucky are making their way to Evansville for a public safety showcase.
According to officials, Heroes in the Park will take place from noon to 3 p.m. on Saturday at Wesselman Park. Officials say first responders with EMS, police, fire and military will be in attendance at the event.
Officials say the event will feature safety demonstrations with K-9 units, food trucks and first responder vehicles, including boats, helicopters and squad cars.
