FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) – It was a nice end to the work week with another seasonal day under partly to mostly cloudy skies. After a few 60 degree days to end the week, we will jump up into the 80s for the weekend! Tomorrow will feature an off chance for severe weather with a system that should arrive in the late morning and continue into the early afternoon. We are in a level 1 of 5 risk for severe weather tomorrow with the main threat being winds.
Highs continue to climb into Sunday with some of the warmest air of the year so far! We do have a chance in the afternoon to see a pop up storm through the afternoon, but most of the day should be dry. Monday will be similar as high temperatures reach the mid to upper 80s. It will be hot and humid with dewpoints reaching in the mid to upper 60s to maybe even as high as 70 degrees. That will make it feel like the middle of summer, and in classic summer fashion, we will have another chance for severe weather. There is a level 2 of 5 risk for severe weather for portions of Kosciusko, LaGrange, Steuben, and Noble counties. We are going to continue to monitor how this situation evolves throughout the weekend…
