Hillsboro family searching for answers after son’s wheelchair stolen at apartment

HILLSBORO, Ore. (KPTV) – A Hillsboro family said their young son’s wheelchair was stolen. FOX 12 spoke to the family about the unexpected obstacle they’re now facing and their plea to the person responsible.

The Mascorro family is experiencing a major setback after they said they left their 8-year-old son’s wheelchair near the stairs at their apartment on Thursday, then came back to put it in their car, and it was gone.

“I assumed maybe he put it away, and when he said he didn’t, I was like someone really stole that. I was like ‘what?’ I didn’t understand that at all,” said Heidi Mascorro…
