EUGENE Ore. (KPTV) – Police in Eugene have found a hidden camera that they think was being used to monitor an Asian American family in connection to a string of burglaries in Beaverton and Salem, they announced on Wednesday.
Officers did not release any details about how or where the camera was found, but they did warn the community to “check and monitor shrubbery for hidden cameras.”
According to police, burglars have targeted a series of Asian American homes while the residents were away at work, after appearing to have watched their potential victims while blocking or jamming surveillance devices.
