Hillsboro Hops turn back Spokane, treat crowd to drone show

The Hillsboro Hops overcame an early 2-0 deficit to beat the Spokane Indians 5-4 on Friday night at Hillsboro Ballpark.

Hillsboro pulled even on a Yassel Soler sacrifice fly in the third inning and moved into the lead on a Soler single to right field in the fifth. Soler kept up his hot night with a two-run double for a 5-3 lead in the seventh.

Spokane loaded the bases with one out in the ninth inning. Trent Youngblood made a catch in right field to put the Hops one out away from victory. The next Indians’ batter got plunked to bring in a free run…
