Unoccupied SUV plunges into Port St. Lucie canal during jet ski launch

PORT ST. LUCIE, Fla. (CBS12) — A jet ski launch went wrong Friday when a man’s unoccupied SUV plunged into a canal in Port St. Lucie.

Officers with the Port St. Lucie Police say the owner was attempting to unload a jet ski at the C24 boat ramps when the vehicle suddenly slipped into the water, leaving the car partially submerged in the canal.

Thankfully, police say no injuries were reported…
