Family remembers 19-year-old stabbing victim as suspect faces murder, rape charges in Charlotte

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Family, friends and community members gathered Friday night at Camp Greene Park in west Charlotte to hold a candlelight vigil for 19-year-old Isabella Stroupe, whose death is being investigated as a homicide.

Attendees lit candles, prayed and shared memories of Stroupe, describing her as a creative young woman who loved reading, art and anime and had dreams of attending art school.
