Sanford woman charged with fleeing, drug offenses after major U.S. 1 wreck

A Sanford woman has been arrested following a crash on U.S. 1 in Southern Pines that injured multiple people, including a 1-year-old child, on Saturday afternoon.

According to records at the Moore County Detention Center, 32-year-old Kendra Snipes was booked into the jail Saturday afternoon following the wreck.

Snipes faces charges including felony fleeing to elude arrest with a motor vehicle, possession of fentanyl, possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, reckless driving with wanton disregard, driving while license revoked, fictitious or false information to an officer, and a window tint violation…
