Lancaster County man charged with assaulting juvenile at Adamstown Park

LANCASTER COUNTY, Pa. — Ephrata Police have arrested a 36-year-old Adamstown man in connection with an alleged assault on a juvenile at a borough park, according to a post on the Ephrata Police Department’s Crimewatch.

Ruben Lugo was charged with endangering the welfare of a child and simple assault following the May 3 incident at the Adamstown Park police said.

Police said Lugo allegedly struck a juvenile with a closed fist three or more times in the face and head area, causing swelling and redness. The juvenile and a parent declined medical treatment, according to the report…
