COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) – A man is in custody after police say he broke into a home overnight and pistol-whipped one of the people inside.
The home invasion was reported around 2:30 Sunday morning in the 1000 block of Garner Street, just southwest of Cimarron and 8th Street.
Police tell 11 News after hitting one of the occupants with his handgun, the suspect fired a round into the ground, then ran from the scene. The two other people in the home were unharmed. Police say the victim who was hit only sustained minor injuries…
