Fayetteville concludes road trip with a come-from-behind win at Delmarva

The Fayetteville Woodpeckers (18-21) concluded the six-game series on Sunday afternoon against the Delmarva Shorebirds (14-25) from Arthur W. Perdue Stadium. Jesus Carrera was on the mound for Fayetteville against Caden Hunter of Delmarva.

At the top of the first inning, Fayetteville designated hitter Kevin Alvarez hit a solo home run to right field for a 1-0 lead. It was his fifth home run of the season. With two outs, Nehomar Ochoa Jr. struck out swinging.
