SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) — The State Route 163 connecting ramp to eastbound Interstate 8 was reported closed around 3:30 p.m. Sunday due to a nearby vegetation fire, according to a social media post by Caltrans.
At around 3:44 p.m., the left lane was reopened, according to an update by Caltrans. The agency then reported all lanes reopened around 4:04 p.m.
The connecting ramp is located near the Mission Valley and Mission Valley West area. The cause of the fire has not been confirmed.
