SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) — Runners crossed the finish line at Fawick Park Sunday morning, greeted by friends, family and pets. For many of the runners, this year’s Skedaddle race was not their first half marathon.

“This is my fifth half marathon,” said Paige Gusso, a runner in the Skedaddle.
“This is my 30th half marathon today. I’ve also run 13 full marathons,” said Brad Bartz, who ran in the Skedaddle.
But there were concerns in the forecast before the race…
