Inmate died on March 4 in hospital, was arrested 2 days prior: Coroner

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) — A 62-year-old woman died not long after she was taken into custody in early March, said the Kern County Coroner’s Office.

Jacqueline E. Livingston, 62, of Rosamond, was arrested on March 2, 2026. Shortly later, she was taken to Antelope Valley Medical Center. She died on March 4 at the hospital.

An autopsy revealed that her cause of death was amlodipine toxicity, and the manner was listed as undetermined…
